Great intake

Reviewed By Mike D (York, PA) Reviewed for a 2003 Jeep Liberty —3/13/2012 5:01 AM

Very easy to install, might have taken about 1 hour to install on my 2003 Jeep Liberty. The hardest part was getting the stock intake out but that was not that hard. When I started it for the first time you could hear how much easier it was breathing. Hope to see an increase in MPG but have not had it in long enough to tell!

Well Worth It!!

Reviewed By Mr Matthew P (Chester, NY) Reviewed for a 2003 Jeep Liberty —10/7/2008 5:12 PM

I'm still not 100% sure if I a breather hose was supposed to supplied or if I was supposed to use the stock one, but even with the stock one, it all worked out and after about 45 min. of installation. Def feel a power diff. Only drag is that it threw the check engine light on.

CARB Legal Replacement

Reviewed By Rodney T (Culver City, CA) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford F-150 —2/25/2015 9:38 AM

Replaced old cold air system that the CARB sticker had come off of with Volant cold air box, easily passed smog test although two shops would not test my truck because the CARB plate was a sticker that they said could have been put on a non CARB system. Suggest that you make the CARB plate a permanent part of the system that could not be moved. Truck runs great although I liked my old system better because the airflow tube was chromed metal and had a better appearance.
