"I have yet to note the actual horsepower gains & fuel efficiency. I purchased the ScanGuageII so I will soon get some physical details. Overall, the improvement in the horsepower is quite noticable. Volant promises "up to" 22 more horespower. I am gestimating that I am getting somewhere between 12 to 15 more hp without any other mods. As far as sound, there is very little improvement when compared to the stock intake. You can hear the intake doing its job but with an open throttle its really not that much louder than the stock intake. If all you're looking for is a louder, more throaty sound opposed to actual performance, look for air ducts that are designed out of aluminum." —Travis S from Palm Harbor, FL bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"Getting K&N FIPK was something I have wanted for a long time, So I tore open the box the same day I got it in the mail. Take your time and read the directions completely and make sure you look at the exploded view for all the parts and their locations. It prolly took me an hour to assemble. Did not like the weather striping have to guess on where to cut and fit it on the steal plate. After that it was simple bolt on. I like the sound on the intake when I start it up in the morning. The dyno chart of the 12 hp is cool, once in a while I will bring my motor up to 4000 rpm to feel the difference. I would buy it again definitely." —Paul A from Southbridge, MA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"Easy to install" —Don W from Goose Creek, SC bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"I installed the intake along with a screaming demon coil, live wires, and fresh spark plugs. The combination really made a difference. I would normally have added the upgrades separate, but my Jeep required intake removal for the tune up parts. I can only evaluate the combination. The Jeep is more peppy, and I don't have to down shift on hills as much. It also idles smoother, but that is probably due to the tune up. This should also give me better gas mileage." —Steve W from Franklin, WV bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"I bought this intake after buying Banks monster exhaust cat back cat for my 04 Wrangler Rubicon. Install is simple and looks very clean under the hood. The first time I started it I didn't notice very much at idle but when I went to the street and punched it that was a different story. You feel a very noticable g-force increase in your seat and a very nice increase in throttle response. As for the sound it's amazing it sounds like it's going to suck your hood in. All and all a great product that acually proforms as advertised. I would expect nothing less from Banks. Go on buy it you won't regret it." —Doug N from Triadelphia, WV bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"One of the best horsepower/ft lbs torque gains for the $. Easy to install. Surprised my hubby by installing by myself for his bday. Oversized tires were killing the power until the K&N was installed. Haven't had long enough to see if increases gas mileage." —Sharon S from Morganton, NC bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"A few of my friends have bought the air intake system and have told me that they've notice a diffrence on the way their jeep accelerate , my 04 wrangler rubicon was kind off a dog on the freeway @ 55 mph i would have to punch it to get going so i did a some research and decieded to buy the system , but before i bought the system i shop around other 4x4 stores and autoanything was by far the best price around, easy to install and well illustraded instruction i'm happy i purchase the sytem thank L.G." —Lorenzo G from La Quinta, CA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
