"Autoanything has the best deals! Install went ok except for removing the air sensor. Definitely noticed an increase in power. Still not sure about mpg gains yet. Sounds better then I thought it would." —John O from Bear, DE bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 3.6L V6.
"All the components seem to be of good quality. The installation instructions were easy to follow and I was able to complete the install in about an hour. Only real tricky bit was re-inserting the temperature sensor in the rubber grommet, which kept popping through. However, perservance paid off.
End result - no apprecible improvement in gas mileage, however, significantly better initial acceleration and uphill power. And of course you can hear it. Certainly not deafening or annoying, though definitely there." —Nicolas M G from Divide, CO bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 3.6L V6.
"I am very satisfied with the deeper sound it gives my new 2012 jeep wrangler. It also increased fuel mileage 1-2 miles per gallon. Installation was pretty straight forward. I would recommend this product to other jeep owners." —Justin P from Amarillo, TX bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
"Instructions were good, easy to follow. Parts are good quality. Sound is great! I notice better acceleration. Mileage up about 1 mpg, I do keep my foot in it a lot too." —Stephen H from Homer Glen, IL bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
"feel an increase in power. gain in low end torque. throaty growl under normal use, a roar at WOT. slight gain in mpg. would recommend and do again if i had to." —Steven A from East Windsor, CT bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 3.6L V6.
"The Airaid I installed on my 2012 Jeep Unlimited is of good quality and if I can install it anyone can. There is a noticeable increase in throttle response and power. It also gives a nice low tone growel upon acceleration. I would recommend this product to other Jeep owners." —Todd H from Gilbert, AZ bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 3.6L V6.
"This air intake is very nice would recommend it for sure you an feel the extra added H/P and Torque I also added a new exhaust and the ring all in all great product." —Vernon W from San Antonio, TX bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
"Easy installation from the start, noticed an increase in power and exceleration..!! Must have!!" —Jeff E from Oakland Park, FL bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 3.6L V6.
"Purchaed primarly cause of name. Fairly easy to install except the housing around the filter is bulky making it awkward to clean the filter. Tight fitting for the air sensor. Fits in like a form fitting glove. Hard to tighte clamp for filter. (follow directions in order). Tinny screws I thought I had tightened for name plate vibrated off. Plastic feels 'cheap'. But really when all said and done my only complaint is the housing arund the filter. Sugestions would be to improve ease of filter removal and maybe provide an option for a future snorkle attachment like original. Noticed increase in power and 1-2 MPG most definately. Would I go with Banks again? I would most likely do a little more research on other comprable cold air intakes. Satisfaction with cost-out of 1-10 would be about a 7." —Douglas G from Spokane, WA bought a Banks Ram-Air Intake for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 3.6L V6.
"The product is almost perfect. The instructions were easy to follow, all pieces were there and everything fit well together. The sound is good and you can actually hear the engine breath easier. There is one flaw with the product. The 'aFe Power' logo on the aluminum intake tube is riveted in place and you can see that the mounting holes for the rivets were never deburred prior to installing the rivets. As a result you have metal chips that are wedged in place by the rivet friction and they will eventually end up in your engine. Check the inside of the tube prior to install." —Jochen F from Ann Arbor, MI bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
"I had a little trouble geeting the cone filter onto the housing. I had to take the hose clamp off or you leave it on the last notch. Also the stock clamps that hold the box in place don't exactly line up with their box. You may need to get a pair of pliers and bend the clips to hold the box in place. This is on my 2009 Ford F-150 pickup truck and may not be the same for your your application." —Marshall R from Jupiter, FL bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler.
