Growls for the Girls

K&N truly is the best in the intake game. The new intake took half an hour to install with very few tools. My fuel economy went up and my engine sounds deeper under acceleration. However, if you are looking for HP gains, you are very unlikely to find any gain in power from this intake or any intake alone. Thanks for a great product, K&N!

I have not put a CAI into a car that I owned before, however this was an easy experience. I have previously put a CAI in my sisters car, which required some fab and additions to make it fit correctly. This part worked perfectly in my car. The vibra-mount has held perfectly so far.

Very Impressive

Reviewed By Donald F (SUTTER CREEK, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Mazda B-Series —4/7/2016 10:15 AM

I'm not sure about the horsepower gain, but performance does seem more to have improved. I also added Bilstein shocks from Auto Anything and a Magnaflow muffler I bought locally. So the engine is breathing better, sounds better and the truck rides better. I've used the K&N air filter replacements for years and been very happy, but this time I wanted to go for the added performance the FIPK offers.
