Overall this is a fantastic way to add some extra horsepower, for a fair price. The actual installation of the part was very very easy, AEM makes these intakes to fit your particular car perfectly. Taking out my stock intake was a huge pain, but without the directions that AEM provides, it would have been twice as hard and aggravating. I noticed a very significant power gain especially in the 3,000-5,000 rpm range, and it looks awesome to boot. For those of you worried about hydro locking, with the Mazda3 at least, it really is not an issue. After seeing where AEM relocates the filter, unless you drive headlights deep through water, hydro locking is not worth a second thought. For those of you who feel that they may be driving through a lake sometime soon buy a bypass valve, and an Injen hydroshield.
