Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake Reviews

Installed on 2010 Mazda 3 2.5

Installation only took about 20 minutes being extra careful. Not as loud as other brands I have used in the past. Fairly expensive for what it is, but there is not check engine light and it looks nice. The inside of the parts is covered in grime and should be cleaned before installation. Auto anything had the intake for the cheapest price after shopping around. Also, the picture of the product is inaccurate. The intake looks much nicer, with metal decals and a filter with a concave top.

K&N 69 Series for the 2010 Mazda 3, 2.5L

I gotta say, it was kind of a pain to install because one of the mounting bolts is hard to get to with a wrench. The instructions are easy to follow. Once I installed the air intake I definitely liked a deeper sound when accelerating. It's not going to make your car faster but it's definitely more responsive with acceleration. As long as you don't accelerate too much, it'll improve your mileage a little bit. I recommend getting the K&N RX-4990DR Air Filter Wrap so you don't get the engine error.

Overall very impressed! Super fast shipping.. Installed in an hr and a half.. Primarily because the under-moldings didn't want to cooperate.. Noticeable change in power but mostly after the 4500 rpm range.. Sounds amazing! Has a nice growl to it.. Haven't noticed much on mpg yet.. Looks very sharp under the hood.. Definitely worth the time and $$..
