"Ny buying experience included a friendly and helpful customer service and a well-designed product. AutoAnything answered all my questions prior to purchase of the intake and the product, after ordering, took only 3 days to arrive. (I had free shipping too!)
The intake itself was flawless. My Mazda definitely feels peppier than before and I believe there is a slight mileage increase. Can't say anything about the actual gains though since I haven't dynoed my car yet.
Overall a great buy. Get yours asap!" —Jason L from Irvine, CA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2010 Mazda 3, 2.5L 4-cyl. engine.
"I really like it had it installed by Mazda, after I had a Magna flow cat back installed, the combo is very sweet. Car runs with a deeper growl, a little better mpg but a lot more power thru all gears. Looks good under the hood, bought an extra filter so no down time. I'd say 5 out of 5 stars and auto anything was awesome, got my email saying it shipped and two days later it's at my front door. Ordered wrong CAI they took it back no problem and I got the right three days later! All I all a very positive experience, can't wait to trade the speed3 in and start over in a couple years!" —Lawrence E. K from San Antonio, TX bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2010 Mazda 3.
"This was the first ever mod I have installed on my first ever car. Being a total newbie with working on cars I had a hard time installing this thing. The instructions were adequate but I just didn't really know what I was doing at first. Heat shield installation was horrible but I will tell you that after all is said and done, this is one of the best mods you can do on your car. The intake sounds great and there seems to be a noticeable increase in torque and power especially mid-rpms. Overall, a very good purchase." —Dino B from Grand Prairie, TX bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2010 Mazda 3, 2.5L 4-cyl. engine.
"The k&n typhoon intake i ordered and installed on my vehicle is a very nice piece. Installation was a bit tricky due to the design of my vehicle. I am very pleased with the high quality appearance and feel of the parts." —Michael G from Cumberland, RI bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2010 Mazda 3.
"The SRI was easy to install on my Mazda. The directions were very detailed with pictures. This car has a sensitive/temperamental MAF, so handle it carefully (I put mine in a baggie until I reinstalled it). The butt-dyno seems to show a small but noticeable impact on acceleration. I found the ECU takes several days to fine tune the fuel trims so mileage and performance will probably increase with time. Sounds nice and throaty especially under hard acceleration. It arrived quickly without incident. Good transaction, good product." —Jason S from Ann Arbor, MI bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2010 Mazda 3.
"I was very impressed with the responsiveness of my 2010 mazda3 2.5 after I installed my new Injen CAI, I certainly noticed a change in the engine's performance, however I also learned that I have to go easy on the gas pedal if I want good gas mileage. If you are looking to get the most out of your car I'd certainly recommend this upgrade." —Oswaldo R from Doral, FL bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2010 Mazda 3.
"I like the sound the intake makes, sounds real deep not too loud and anoying. The added horsepower is also noticeable over the stock filter. The good thing I like is the sound is not too overbearing in the cabin. I also like the water repelant cover that came with the filter for those rainy days, makes me feel confident going over puddles. Great look , easy install, and glad with overall purchase." —Sam A from Santa Ana, CA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2010 Mazda 3.
"I've had the short ram version of this intake for a few weeks now and so far so good. Installation only took 20 min and even seemed too easy. It sounds good and the stainless steel looks great in the all black engine bay. I havent noticed any better mpg but its too soon to tell and I never expected to feel a real difference in power putting this on my 4 cyl. An overall good buy for $180." —Brian S from Winter Garden, FL bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2010 Mazda 3, 2.5L 4-cyl. engine.
"The difference in response after the Injen installation was considerable! The performance difference throughout all gears is "noticeable" ... I have had to tell my wife to be a bit careful when driving the "3" until she becomes accustomed to the difference in performance. Note: the installation went relatively easy especially since I did not have to pull the front bumper! The "3" was fun to drive before, now I really need to watch the 'zoom, zoom!'" —David V from Newhall, CA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2010 Mazda 3.
