Mazda 6 Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake

Reviewed By Steven H (GREENWOOD, SC) Reviewed for a 2016 Mazda 6 —1/7/2016 4:40 AM

Top rated intake that cleans up the engine compartment of my Mazda 6. Functions as advertised and exudes quality when looking at it. Best price on the market, coupled with the quality look made choosing easy. Accessing the area to install the filter was a bit of a struggle but this is not due to the Intake but car itself, hence the 4 rating on ease of installation. I would highly recommend this intake to my fellow Mazda 6 enthusiast because it does what it advertised to do.

K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems Reviews

It works

Reviewed By David W (Bristol, CT) Reviewed for a 2015 Mazda 6 —10/8/2015 5:45 AM

I have used K&N filters on all my vehicle for the past 15+ years but this is the first CAI system I've installed. It is very easy to install for anyone who does simple maintenance. You can notice the improved acceleration, it works. I am pleasantly surprised that it DOES increase the mileage in my Mazda 6 by a couple MPG. There is a strange 'growl' at low rpms but it shouldn't be so bad that you would want to 'unload it' as a read one reviewer say. Using the Sport mode of the transmission makes that go away. Very happy with the product.

AEM Cold Air Intake System Reviews

For the love of driving.

Reviewed By William H (SEVIERVILLE, TN) Reviewed for a 2005 Mazda 6 —5/12/2015 3:52 PM

This intake is sweet. I put in on my 05 mazda 6s and immediately, the sound was awesome. Before, it sounded decent, now people ask what kind of exhaust I have, and this intake is the only engine mod so far. AEM advertised 5-7% HP increase, I'd say that's about right. I think there's a bit more grab between 3-4k rpm than there was, and maybe a little more kick at 4.5k, which is usually the peak of the power band. Not sure about gas mileage yet, but I know I just rev if alot??
