"Installation was a breeze except for the bracket that bolts to the head. The instructions were a little fuzzy. I haven't driven enough in town yet, but on a trip to Florida, 2 days after the install, my '02 Mountaineer v8 got 18.5 mpg @75-80 mph. I can hear a little intake noise under normal throttle, but it is pretty loud at higher rpm or heavier load. I can really tell that it is flowing alot more air than the stock restrictive pieces." —Case B C from Sellersburg, IN bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer.
