Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer Reviews

PowerAid on a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi

I have had this spacer on for a couple weeks now, but haven't noticed any significant change in mpg. The whistle is constant, and unless you have the radio on, you will hear it all the time. I also have a K&N FIPK, a Superchips Programmer and a Gibson exhaust. I have noticed an increase in response, however, so its not a complete waste. Since I already had the FIPK installed, install was a breeze and took maybe 15 minutes. Ever since I added 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Radials, the gas mileage I had accomplished before, just about 18mpg on the highway, has plumented. I am currently waiting for a Fitch Fuel Catalyst; we'll see if that helps get me back up.

Airaid Intake System Reviews

Yes It Works, and works Great

Reviewed By Tim S (Lawrence, MA) Reviewed for a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider —4/23/2007 8:35 PM

a little while ago I purchased the Airaid Intake Quickfit system for my 2006 2WD 3.7L Mitsubishi Raider LS. the installation literally took me 30 minutes and i did it right in the parking lot of my place of work just with a 5/16 socket wrench. immediately afterwards i noticed a difference in the ease and power of acceleration and a throatier sound. But the biggest different was what i noticed on my 200 mile drive to NY from Ma. On previous trips to NY i had an average of 19 to 20 MPG. with the intake kit i gained an additional 3.5 miles per gallon. 23.5 miles per gallon. not bad for a pickup Yes. this Works great!.

Airaid Modular Intake Tube Reviews

2011 Silverado Air Raid Tube

Reviewed By David R (MANTENO, IL) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Silverado —11/13/2015 6:45 AM

The was a snap to install, once I figured out the valve cover PCV disconnect. The instructions just say disconnect, but I had to take a little time to figure this one out, spring clip. I assume this connection must be different between years. The tube does make the truck sound better. I do not drive the truck all the time, and when I do I like the sound when I put my foot in it. Hope to see MPH improvement.
