"Easy to install. The difference between stock and K&N system is inmediate and the sound under the hood is very sporty." —Julian C. Z from Elizabeth, NJ bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"This thing is great. It makes my car sound so mean. There is a small noticeable gain in horsepower. This isn't really much of a gain on gas mileage, its about the same as before. I really like this thing, the only negative was that I had to drop my bumper to get this on, that was the hard part. Once the bumper was off it was a breeze to install. I recommend this product." —Brandon G from Fernley, NV bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"I purchased the Typhoon for my 2009 Lancer ES. Took me about 45 minutes to get everything installed. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. I do alot of highway driving, and passing other vehicles @ 65mph w/extra torque is no problem. I do not have to wait that extra 1/2 second for the engine to catch up. My gas mileage has also increased by 3-4mpg's! And the sound is great! Anybody thinking of purchasing, dont even hesitate, you will see definite improvements in your vehicle. I have also just purchased a BORLA exhaust from AutoAnything, and that is going to be installed next week." —Joseph C from Lake View, NY bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"I love it very much sounds great adds a little more power to it and so easy to install it a monkey can do it :) prize was ok found other ones like it but a little cheaper but other than that it looks great and sounds better" —Brandon K from Graham, WA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"I am happy with the product. I would have really liked to get the red one, but this was the best price I saw." —Chase L from Upper Marlboro, MD bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"Install can be a little tricky if you don't know what you're doing. I did research. It sounds absolutely amazing. You will have a little less throttle response at lower rpms but huge gains at the top. Make sure to get the hydroshield or you'll be sorry." —Keegan T from , bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"Picked it up and installed it the next day with the help of my girlfriend. Everything looked really good and the instructions helped a lot. Only thing is, the instructions said to take out the whole front bumper, but i found it easier and faster to just take the lower plastic covers under the radiator and it's surroundings. Installation didn't take more than 30 min. Couldn't wait and took it for a test drive and it sounded really good. Really happy with the CAI. Throttle response is better, can feel the power when i step on the throttle, and was able to get 27.9 mpg out of the lancer instead of being stuck with 23.5 mpgs!!!" —Arturo C from Centreville, VA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"I love the look and install was simple! The sound at 4 grand is sweet! sounds like I have a performance exhaust. My gas mileage I am sure has gone up do to always wanting to hear this thing roar!" —Joe F from Plattsburgh, NY bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"Got this intake on sale.. Shipped to me the next day, installed in about 20 mins. Def increased overall performance an gave my car a great deep sound. give it 5/5" —Edward B from Philadelphia, PA bought a K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"I put in my CAI at the same timer I put in my exhaust so I can't say how much louder it is alone but between the two of them the engine really roars, I love it and it isn't a ricey sound at all." —Joshua T from Annapolis, MD bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
