"Way more air flow and you can feel the extra power when you accelerate. While in park you can rev it fast and quick (no more than 2500 rpm) and hear the air go in the intake. Very nice for the price and quality, took about 30 mins to install." —Michael V from Killeen, TX bought a Takeda Air Intake Systems for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, 2.0L 4-cyl. engine, non-Turbo.
"An awesome modification. Just love the roar of the engine when the throttle is wide open. Also, feel the hp gain in the high end. Appearance under the hood - sweet... And to those ES owners, y'all don't have to remove the front bumper, just the front wheel on the driver's side. Then take the plastic fender liner off. It took me 45 mins. overall, think it's not bad. (got the idea from Mark K. of Edmonton, AB) Thanks man. Thanks Autoanything!" —Gerardo I from Dallas, TX bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, 2.0L 4 cyl. engine.
"I put in my CAI at the same timer I put in my exhaust so I can't say how much louder it is alone but between the two of them the engine really roars, I love it and it isn't a ricey sound at all." —Joshua T from Annapolis, MD bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, GTS, 2.4L 4-cyl. engine.
"Picked it up and installed it the next day with the help of my girlfriend. Everything looked really good and the instructions helped a lot. Only thing is, the instructions said to take out the whole front bumper, but i found it easier and faster to just take the lower plastic covers under the radiator and it's surroundings. Installation didn't take more than 30 min. Couldn't wait and took it for a test drive and it sounded really good. Really happy with the CAI. Throttle response is better, can feel the power when i step on the throttle, and was able to get 27.9 mpg out of the lancer instead of being stuck with 23.5 mpgs!!!" —Arturo C from Centreville, VA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
"I love it very much sounds great adds a little more power to it and so easy to install it a monkey can do it :) prize was ok found other ones like it but a little cheaper but other than that it looks great and sounds better" —Brandon K from Graham, WA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, GTS, 2.4L 4-cyl. engine.
"This thing is great. It makes my car sound so mean. There is a small noticeable gain in horsepower. This isn't really much of a gain on gas mileage, its about the same as before. I really like this thing, the only negative was that I had to drop my bumper to get this on, that was the hard part. Once the bumper was off it was a breeze to install. I recommend this product." —Brandon G from Fernley, NV bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer, GTS, 2.4L 4-cyl. engine.
"Install was very easy, comes with instructions and everything you could possibly use.
I've definitely have noticed a slight power increase and definitely a nice sound when driving. :)
Totally recommend buying this." —Jonathan R from Bellevue, WA bought an Injen SP Series Cold Air Intake for a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer.
