Breath better Pathfinder

Reviewed By Greg K (East Wenatchee, WA) Reviewed for a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder —10/26/2009 1:57 PM

The intake was easy to install in about 1 hour. I didn't really expect any performance gains I could feel, so no disappointment there. I have noticed about +1mpg gain in fuel economy, which means it will pay for itself in about 2000 miles. The one thing I didn't really expect was the increased intake noise; my wife isn't a big fan of that. This kit will make your engine louder, especially in the 2000 RPM range. I placed some foam around the box, and that helped a little.

Pricey, but quality made!

Reviewed By Stephen J (prospect, VA) Reviewed for a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder —3/31/2016 10:07 AM

The aFe Momentum for my 2006 Pathfinder is a well-made unit that comes with the option of a dry or oiled filter. The box is one piece and comes with a plug that allows you to block off the front ram scoop, if you wish. The T-bolt clamps are much stronger than the extra-big, radiator hose style clamps that other kits offer. Their slick design makes removing the air filter from the box simple. The kit is expensive compared to others and only a 2-year warranty.
