Injen Hydro Shield Reviews

Injen HydroShield

The HydroShield was easy to install and gives me some confidence on how well the filter will filtrate the air. Also HydroShield helps prevent bugs from being lodged into the filter, which helps in cleaning and recharging. Highly recommend getting one if you are driving in areas dusty and full of bugs.

Fantastic intake! Installed on 02 Sentra SE-R Spec V

Reviewed By Peter H (Dayton, OH) Reviewed for a 2002 Nissan Sentra —4/15/2008 3:22 PM

This is a truly great product. K&N thought of everything designing this thing, even a hanger for the transmission vent tube and a bit of rubber edging to go around the sheet metal in the fender well, to prevent vibration and scratching of the intake itself. Install was a tad more difficult than I expected, but that was mostly due to the removal of the stock bits. The intake (in red) looks fantastic, the sound is AMAZING at WOT, and a definite power gain could be felt. I highly recommend this product, and AutoAnything, who sold me the intake for $60 cheaper than anywhere else.

Wise Decision

Reviewed By Mark M (Mason City, IA) Reviewed for a 2002 Nissan Sentra —10/10/2006 9:16 AM

Purchaced for my SE-R. Installation took about an hour, but the results were worth it. The sound is awsome! The only problem was the service engine light stayed on while I was driving for about a week, but that light does not turn on while driving anymore. Definitely would puchace for future vehicles.
