"Just installed filter. Filled up tank and testing now for performance and to see if any gas increase. Does increase noise and pickup power. Can't wait until I get it on interstate to open up." —Donald C from Largo, FL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"Very easy install. all parts fit with no modification. Noticable improvement in low speed acceleration.
noticable growl from intact on loaded acceleration but not excessive. Have not towed yet." —Richard M from Raleigh, NC bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Nissan Titan, 5.6L V8.
"Easy install, would be quicker if the kit arrived ready to install. The added horse power is great." —Steven W from Spanaway, WA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"Straightforward install. Nice fit & finish and well thought out. The only difficult part was removing the old air intake with my fat fingers.
The metal housing fits well against the hood of the truck via 3 rubber seals (should be designed as one piece.). The filter element is absolutely huge! It's clear this item was maximized for performance. (9" long, 6" W at the base and 5" W at the top with deep filter folds - lots of surface area) It really allows the Titan's 32 valves to sing loud and clear. Although my wife never mentioned the sound as I passed another vehicle at WOT. But I said HOLY CRAP!
The dry (no oil) filter element is the only type I would use on my vehicles. Based on reported issues with MAFs while oiled elements were used and confirming first-hand knowledge with a factory-fresh oiled element being the cause of a MAF failure (a Mazda), only marketing B.S. explains why K&N type CAIs are so successful.
My optimistic guestimate of a 0.5 mpg improvement over stock (a 3.3% increase in gas mileage for my truck) will not save enough in gas to ever pay for itself. But the commanding roar the AEM CAI makes under heavy acceleration serves as a handy reminder that fuel is being sucked into the engine at an expensive pace.
That's the only way this product saves money. Other than that, it's a lot of fun!" —Anthony V from West Newbury, MA bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"Looks good and sounds good. Step by step instructions were good. First steps to replacing my complete exhaust system in my 2007 Nissan Titan SE. Headers and catback exhaust is next. I will be purchasing from Autoanthing.com. Great customer service and purchase processing." —Daniel M from Fredericksburg, VA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"I put this system on my Titan and it was a very snug fit. It appears to have better pick-up and is definatly more noisy when you step on the throttle. (sounds pretty cool)The fit is so snug that I wasn't able to put in a throttle body spacer which I ended up returning and was dissapointed that I couldn't use both for better performance and possibly better fuel economy. There is probably a way to cut the plastic tubing but I didn't want to risk it." —Jon I from Campbell, CA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"The throttle feels slightly more responsive. Have not yet been to the pump to test that. Overall fit seems a bit flawed for the price, but a nice kit nonetheless. Aggressive sound at higher RPMS." —David J from Berlin, CT bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"I love this K&N intake system; I noticed a boost in HP and torqe as soon as I hit the gas. It is a little louder than the factory intake but not so much so that it's annoying. It was pretty simple to install but I would recommend paying close attention to the sizes of the clamps during istallation as I ended up having to undue some of my handywork because I used the wrong clamp. The instructions were easy to follow and the end result was a great look to my 2007 Titan LE." —Kerry B from Oklahoma City, OK bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"This is cold air intake is about the easiest thing I've installed on my Nissan Titan since I bought my truck, 20 mins max, if you know how to use a screw driver and got a little bit of common since than there you'll have no problem, everything was custom fit, to get more performance and some improvement in mpg you can beat the price" —Tony S from Melbourne, FL bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2007 Nissan Titan, 5.6L V8.
"I just took a trip to south Mississippi, I don't know if it was the sound that made it feel like more power or it just gives you more power period!!!! It brings back memeroies of the 4 barrel carb. I like it! Ron" —Ronald A from Enterprise, AL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
"Volant Cold Air Intake system was not the easiest to put in, but it is doable. I can diffidently tell the HP increase, but have not notice anything with MPG. I only have had the CAI in for a couple of weeks. So once I quick getting on the throttle it might make a difference. This is a awesome CAI, and worth taking a look at." —Jacob S from East Peoria, IL bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2007 Nissan Titan.
