"Good quality and Economical.
Only thing I can say wrong is that it uses the Factory air transfer assembly where the more expensive ones come with their own smother metal tube. However, modern vehicles already have a pretty good assembly any way. You just will not have the nice shiny pipe from the filter to the throttle.
The lack of a transfer tube is why the unit cost significantly less. Still provides good increase in power, fuel economy while adding a nice low rumble to our engine.
Install used standard tools and oonly a rudementry understanding of mechanics." —Martin E from Buzzards Bay, MA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2008 Nissan Versa, 4.0L V6.
"I love my new Takeda CAI. I can feel a difference in power and sound. Especially teamed with DC sports exhaust. Would recommend to friends and family." —Chris D from California City, CA bought a Takeda Air Intake Systems for a 2008 Nissan Versa, 1.8L 4-cyl. engine.
"While the K&N cold air intake looks great and definitely increases my truck's response and horsepower, the hurdles encountered in installing it were very dissapointing. Not only did a plastic piece break, but the instructions showed pictures with different vehicles and different air intakes. For my specific vehicle, the air temperature sensor cords did not reach the K&N position for the air sensor, and the picture in the directions was completely incorrect. We had to patch together this air intake with wires and tape that we had lying around. Not too impressive." —Patrick W from Ann Arbor, MI bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2008 Nissan Versa, 4.7L V8.
