K&N shows up

Reviewed By William H (Concord, NC) Reviewed for a 2002 Nissan Xterra —4/16/2014 8:27 PM

Bought the K&N for my Xterra. Really woke it up. Installation was easy except for two things, one of which was my own mistake which I corrected quickly and the second one was that the brace/filter adapter that attaches to the heat shield and MAF, the holes were a bit too small for the bolts provided. Little bit of boring out the holes with a drill did the trick. Great product as always from K&N.

cost effectiveness

as of this writing i find the aem intake to be a definite enhancement to the performance of my vehicle. gas mileage has improved and there has been an improvement in low end torque. overall i feel i have made a good investment in a vehicle i intend to keep for several more years.

not sure

I'm not sure about it since I've been in 4wd off and on for a month now. I still hope for gas mileage improvement but am happy I can get through most weather! Love my Xterra
