1997 T100 4X4

Reviewed By Robert L (Tyler, TX) Reviewed for a 2014 Porsche 911 —4/12/2015 7:50 AM

I was a little concerned about installing the Air Intake system on my T100, especially when I read the reviews of it only taking a couple of hours. I hardly broke a sweat on the install. I would say the hardest part is putting the rubber seal on the shroud. The step by step instructions didn't leave anything out. After the install I checked for air leaks around the clamps and it was nicely sealed. I took my T100 for a spin and can hear the massive air intake. Great product.

Nice intake - a tight squeeze on 2003 Boxster S 3.2L

Reviewed By Robert G (CLAREMONT, CA) Reviewed for a 2003 Porsche Boxster —9/4/2012 8:17 PM

The kit here works well and I am happy that I bought and installed it. Nice filter and induction tube and hoses/clamps. The intake tube that connects from the throttle body to the airbox is somewhat tricky to get in, you really have to position it and snake it in correctly; I loosened some other clamps on the intake manifold side and rotated the throttle body piece upward. I ended up temporarily loosening the throttle body to get the tube into position then repositioned the parts. Runs smoothly!

K & N 63 Series Porsche 911 Installation

Reviewed By Leo D (Bolingbrook, IL) Reviewed for a 1999 Porsche 911 —5/3/2008 5:46 AM

Rather straightforward installation, one does notice a change to performance in the higher rev band. Definitely a change to engine intake noise on cold idle. Sounds like a vacuum, once engine warms it goes back to normal Porsche sound. At speed and higher rev though one can hear the intake once again when the engine opens the throttle. Don't really like the appearance of the alteration to a engineering design. Wish it was alittle less obvious.
