It gave it a better sound it did change a lil bit on torque.

just replaced one that had 60000 miles on it. you really can't tell how dirty they are because you can't see the inner filter. did seem heavier than the new replacement though. have never seen any improvement in gas mileage etc. as long as the PCM is adjusting things i don't see how you could. if anything the better fow is going to make it adjust for more gas!

I love my aFe CAI, truck runs like a beast. I recommend buying an extra like I did so when it's time time clean your filter, you can pop in the extra and actually have time to let the old one dry once cleaned. Then next time you change your filter you have one cleaned and oiled ready to go. It beats waiting 24 to 36 hour s for these sicker to dry.
