K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems Reviews

Typhoon Camry 2015

The shield doesn't fit perfectly and hard to install and doesn't connect to the fresh air perfectly. It is too talk and the hood hits the shield when close and make weird noise. The elbow connector break easily. Other than that , it performs good.

aFe Magnum Force Cold Air Intake System

Reviewed By Leeand T (Stanwood, WA) Reviewed for a 2006 Toyota Tundra —11/21/2015 5:19 AM

Have had my aFe Cold Air Intake installed on my truck for about a week, and I think it is a great addition to the engine. I notice that the truck has a better starting response as well as a much better accelerating response when at cruising speed. It has not set off the check engine light as I heard that the K&N does with these trucks, and very glad I did. I am very pleased with my choice of this brand and model. Installation instructions were not for my model, so it took much longer to do.

Volant Cold Air Intakes Reviews

Mostly impressed so far!

Install was pretty easy. A couple things....I had to re-drill the mounting holes a little bit as they didn't match up perfectly. Also, the MAF sensor kept giving me "trac off" code. I had to use light lock-tite to make sure it didn't loosen up. Sound is good but not super impressive, I'm going to add exhaust next. Acceleration is improved as well as my mileage (up almost 1 mpg at this time already!). I drive 35,000 miles a year so this will pay for itself in no-time!
