Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer Reviews

I like it

Reviewed By Christopher W (STUART, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma —1/18/2016 3:53 PM

I purchased the Poweraid TB spacer for my 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4.0 V6. The install was easy but lacked good illustrations in the instructions. I was unable to put the engine beauty cover back on due to the bolt holes not lining up very well. I can hear the whistle at part throttle with my K&N drop in air filter but it's kind of cool. I could barely hear it with the stock filter. I can't tell if it added any MPGs or torque to my truck but I like knowing its there. Looks good under the hood.

Not a big difference for my application

Reviewed By Dustin B (New Tripoli, PA) Reviewed for a 2004 Toyota Tundra —12/23/2015 9:44 AM

Did not notice a sound or major performance increase in my particular truck. It may be louder than stock but the exhaust drowns it out. Performance will likely be improved after installing in combination with exhaust headers. Easy to install and reusable filter is a plus.

Airaid Intake System Reviews

instalation kind of a bit#h

Reviewed By James L (PORTLAND, OR) Reviewed for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma —5/23/2015 1:03 PM

The wiring harness for the air pump is a little short and the wiring kit they give you is very cheap and doesn't work very well. Mine came apart and set my check engine light on and my traction control. Had to have it put on computer and reset and find out why my lights were on. Moving the air pump around and the air conditioning lines is definitely not for do-it-yourself ers who don't happen to have a good buddy who has a computer and can work on cars.
