K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems Reviews

K&N - Always a Solid Product

Reviewed By John E (Winchester, WI) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota Camry —12/16/2014 5:02 AM

Generally a solid, well made intake kit. Install is pretty simple. Some bending and tweaking to make the heat-shield fit. Pros: Very good quality, well finished, heat shield included, straight forward install, K&N supplied dyno sheet to back up power claims. Cons: pricy vs. other intakes, some bending and twisting needed to make brackets and shield fit, weather-strip trim looks awkward on shield, breather hose supplied won't fit Camry flange, no way to verify dyno claims.

Airaid Intake System Reviews

Airaid on 2014 tundra review

Reviewed By Sherrie S (GLEN GARDNER, NJ) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota Tundra —12/2/2014 5:28 AM

overall system installs well. Placement of one bracket was "unrealistic" for something that is a bolt on cold air system. Also the weather strip is not the easiest to work with. Having installed K&N I found their installation much more straight forward but I'm still happy I purchased this one. Also installed unichip and magnaflow outlaw cat-back exhaust. Difference is GREAT!
