K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (50-State Legal) Reviews

k&n 57 review

Reviewed By Ellsworth K (CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Toyota Tundra —2/4/2016 8:35 PM

The system was very easy to install and took me less than 30 minutes. So far I have noticed a very slight increase in fuel economy and acceleration. I am hopefull adding a performance exhaust will increase my power additionally and give me the needed boost when pulling my travel trailer. The k&n system is an expenditure I would recommend to everyone. A vert good value.

S&B Cold Air Intake Kit Reviews

4Runner kit

Reviewed By JEFFREY P (PALMDALE, CA) Reviewed for a 1995 Toyota 4Runner —2/4/2016 5:55 AM

This is a good looking unit seems to allow more continuous airflow then the K&N kit reduces rpm at cruising speed by 200. Had to relocate alarm audio horn. And 1 wire loom. Hoses easier to install on warm days.

Spectre Cold Air Intake Reviews

Spectre Cold Air Intake review with some user observations.

Reviewed By Alan P (Birmingham, AL) Reviewed for a 2000 Toyota 4Runner —2/2/2016 4:34 PM

Installation went well with a few exceptions. First, the heat shield is too tall for the 2000 4Runner. Leaving one screw attached I lowered the shield to allow the hood to fasten down. It is loose but the lowered hood keeps it from moving. Second, the shoulder bolts on the band clamps bottomed out before they tightened down securely. I will have to buy full thread bolts to secure the air tube to the intake manifold. Performance seems to have increased a bit after a few days.
