HPS Performance Short Ram Air Intakes Reviews

Sounds good, really adds some "kick in the pants" accelleration

Reviewed By Stan A (Victoria, MN) Reviewed for a 2012 Toyota Prius —8/19/2016 11:42 AM

Easy to install, OEM mass air flow bolted right in, good quality hardware (clamps, rubber, K&N air filter). I can't believe how much better my 2012 Prius V wagon performs with this air intake!! Plus it really howls when you step on it. Probably the best performance item I've ever installed on any of my vehicles. Highly recommended!!!

K&N FIPK for Toyota Tacoma

Reviewed By DENNIS C (SACRAMENTO, CA) Reviewed for a 2001 Toyota Tacoma —8/17/2016 4:28 PM

Installed K&N FIPK on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4WD double cab. Installation went smoothly, only complication was drilling out the 1 3/8" hole for the crankcase vent resonator hose; had to run to Home Depot for the hole saw bit. Truck has more noticeably more power. There is more intake/exhaust sound when above 3,000 RPM but not much difference cruising 65 - 75 MPH. Also looks like we'll be getting better gas mileage, but need more time to verify. Vehicle also has a MagnaFlow performance exhaust.

Awesome Intake!

Reviewed By Corey G (THIBODAUX, LA) Reviewed for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma —8/12/2016 8:52 PM

I have a 2016 Toyota TacomaTrd Off-road 4x4 with the 3.5 V6 and you can feel a little more power , I can defiantly feel a little more bottom end over the stock intake. Easy to install , takes about 15/20 mins. I gained a mpg or 2 according to the display on my truck. I also ordered the scoop for the intake from AFEs website.(it's still in production supposed to ship in a week or two) also I bought the intake when auto anything had a 20% off deal on the website so I got a good deal on it.
