"Nice fit and finish, but since the filter is actually in the fender well there is a lot of intake noise making its way into the cab. You can hear it sucking air. One of the louder cold air intakes I've owned. I think most people would be more happy with the Injen Short Ram model for the Tundra. It does perform well though, and works well with my MBRP exhaust." —James S from Freelandville, IN bought an Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake System for a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser, 5.7L V8.
".....air that is!! With the addition of headers and a new exhaust, the FJ needed more air in. Great job, Airaid, you make an excellent product, and now the FJ has more than enough cold air. Highly recommend." —Paul R from Duluth, MN bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
"This is a great product and easy to install. The sound is good but the proformance is better!" —James P from Clarksburg, WV bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser, 5.7L V8.
"I installed the KN 77 series and the Taylor Helix spacer throttle, and they definitely made a difference. Great sound, and you can feel the extra power. Very easy to install, both. No previous experience at all. I'm very pleased with the products, I'm already searching my next buy. I loved my truck...now, I'm madly in love. Thanks Autoanything." —Maurizio B from Trujillo Alto, PR bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
"Fabulous choice. The engine compartment looks gorgeous. The lusty surge and sound of the Tundra's 5.7 L engine is awesome. I noticed a great jump in power and suspect 14HP is realistic. This baby goes. However, I installed it for fuel consumption improvement and believe I am already seeing results. Caution!! IF installing on a Toyota Tundra Make sure you insulate well the wiring harness beneath the pipe with extra wire loom and foam padding or it will rub through causing electrical problems." —Philip W from East Peoria, IL bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
"Very very easy to install. Took about an hour. Quick note, do not over tighten the plastic intake adapters(I broke one). The sound the intake makes when you accelerate is awesome. Really like the whole system" —Dustin B from Edmond, OK bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
"Overall I guess I'm happy. Install was pretty good, took my time and made sure to step by step (not a mechanic and took me bout 1.5hrs) but I was kinda distracted while installing. Main gripe is that the K&N logo doesn't face you when you open the hood. So much was removed from my engine (plastic wise) during install, looks kinda bare.....and the chrome tube K&N logo isn't facing you. Doesn't hurt the functuality a bit though. Sounds kinda throaty when you step on it. Not sure of any fuel economy but haven't driven enough miles to know......." —Jeffrey T from Springfield, OR bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser.
