Power and Sound are Unbelievable

Reviewed By Jason P (Summerville, SC) Reviewed for a 2006 Toyota Sequoia —4/6/2006 6:10 AM

The first time I took my 2006 Toyota Sequoia V8 on the road and stomped on it, I thought I was sitting in a stock car at the races. The extra horsepower was noticeable and the sound was unbelievable. It took a little time to install, but it was well worth it. Thanks. Jason Charleston, SC

Reviewed By Pat D (Easthampton, MA) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota Sequoia —10/7/2014 10:58 AM

I received my Spectre cold air intake in the box installed it right away with in a half hour my truck was off the chain running like a RAPED APE!! I have a V/8 so it sounded so awesome I immediately felt the extra horse power and because I drive my truck all day so I see the extra 60 miles to a tank full. All I can say is GET ONE!!!!!!

Sounds Great

Reviewed By Jason W (OVERLAND PARK, KS) Reviewed for a 2005 Toyota Sequoia —6/19/2014 10:36 PM

The install on my Sequoia V8 went really smooth, took me about 2 hours but I did it slow and cleaned my MAF before firing it up. Just sounds like a lot of air at idle and lower RPM range but really growls above the 2,800 mark and roars above the 3,600 mark. I did notice a 1-2 mpg improvement at highway speeds, but that could just have been from cleaning the MAF sensor, not a whole lot in the lower cruising rpm range but the acceleration is noticeably better especially above the 3,000 mark
