Well made good quality

Afe CAI materials are quality and well made. Getting air box to fit in space on my 08 Tacoma was a little snug but Finally got it in. I like the closed box enclosure for filter vs some of other brands which are open box. Volant also makes a closed box enclosure. Performance is better on throttle response Doing mpg test now. Price of afe cai are higher than others and not sure why because expect performance of all brands should be the same. Would buy again due to build quality.

I like it

Reviewed By Christopher W (STUART, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Tacoma —1/18/2016 3:53 PM

I purchased the Poweraid TB spacer for my 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4.0 V6. The install was easy but lacked good illustrations in the instructions. I was unable to put the engine beauty cover back on due to the bolt holes not lining up very well. I can hear the whistle at part throttle with my K&N drop in air filter but it's kind of cool. I could barely hear it with the stock filter. I can't tell if it added any MPGs or torque to my truck but I like knowing its there. Looks good under the hood.

2008 Xrunner

It only took about 90 minutes to install and I can actually tell the HP difference right away. The gas mileage is just a hair better but overall the installation was very easy and instructions were informative as well. I've already recommended AutoAnything and Spectre to friends.
