AFE Super Stock Cold Air Intake for 2014 Toyota Tundra 5.7L

Reviewed By Gregory M (Ventura, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota Tundra —10/20/2016 11:38 AM

Experienced noise after install. Turned out provided crankcase hose too short (15")which was kinked. AFE sent out longer hose (20") and noise went away (no kink). Appears I'm getting about 1 mpg better fuel economy provided I ease up on the accelerator. Appears to shift into overdrive easier providing better gas mileage while cruising. No real noticeable increase of noise over my Magnaflow 3" exhaust. Noticable more power on freeway when you punch it. Overall happy with purchase and CA legal.

turbo

Reviewed By Chad B (Waldoboro, ME) Reviewed for a 2011 Toyota Tundra —6/28/2014 4:57 AM

Installed on a 2011 Tundra and now you would think i have a turbo installed. The truck whistles at about 1 3/4 rpm and continues until about 3 1/2 rpm. I have a flowmaster 50 series dual stainless exhaust and a AFE Pro Dry Sealed CAI. The truck pulls hard and sounds. Smooth. Running 275/70/18 BFG TA KO tire I'm getting 16.2mpg highway and 13.5 to 14 daily driving. If you don't mind the whistle of a turbo you will like this upgrade

Afe Momentun intake 2016 Tacoma

Reviewed By John W (GRIMES, IA) Reviewed for a 2016 Toyota Tacoma —12/19/2016 10:50 AM

Installation was straight forward and took about 30 minutes. Once installed and driving, I noticed the truck picked up better in the 2000 - 3500 rpm range, the area that I wanted. With the plug in the truck is still quiet until upi get to about 4000 rpm range and goes away after 4500. With the plug out it is quite a bit louder in that same rpm range, where you may not want to step on it that hard. Seems like a good product.
