Airaid on 2014 tundra review

Reviewed By Sherrie S (GLEN GARDNER, NJ) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota Tundra —12/2/2014 5:28 AM

overall system installs well. Placement of one bracket was "unrealistic" for something that is a bolt on cold air system. Also the weather strip is not the easiest to work with. Having installed K&N I found their installation much more straight forward but I'm still happy I purchased this one. Also installed unichip and magnaflow outlaw cat-back exhaust. Difference is GREAT!

Excellent Intake, don't expect MPG improvement

Reviewed By Paxton H (SAVANNAH, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Toyota Tundra —11/30/2014 6:02 AM

Fairly easy installation, the hardest part is putting the trim around the heat shield. Also, instructions had one of the brackets backwards and had to turn that around. Otherwise, pretty easy. I love the sound of the engine roaring when I step on it, otherwise no increase in cabin noise at idle speeds. I haven't noticed any increase in MPG, but I need to point out that my truck is lifted 4" with 35" tires. If your truck is stock you may see 1-2mpg increase. I give it 4/5 due to no mpg increase.
