"the product is Awesome! Great price and instructions are very easy to follow. Can hear and feel the difference after installation.
Good job to Spectre and Autoanything." —Joshua J from Durango, CO bought a Spectre Cold Air Intake for a 2001 Toyota Tundra.
"i havent been able to install it yet but it looks good i have some likes and dislikes about it
the instructions could be a little more detailed anf the tube i would rather be metal likes i love the fact that i can simply shake, vaccum or simply wash out the filter with water no oil a+ filter. overall i think it is an ok or better product like i said havent been able to instal it yet" —David Q from Hammond, LA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2001 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8.
"I use K&N systems on my sport bikes for the track and road. So I put one on my Tundra. It installs perfect. I kept the stock tube in the fender well for added protection from moisture. I like it a lot I think I have more power. At least it sounds like it." —John P V from Medford, OR bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Toyota Tundra.
"Overall this intake was excellent edition to my Tundra. Instalation was easy, but minor modification to one of the stock air box clamps to clamp onto the aFe box, not a big issue. As for power great gain from mid to high range in the RPM band. The best quality of this intake is the sound after 3 grand this thing roars and is sure to turn heads. Under normal driving conditions same stock sound. MPGs have gone up to. Great intake highly recomend!" —Gail N from Novato, CA bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2001 Toyota Tundra.
"Easy to install on my 2001 tundra.noticed small horsepower Increase which was nice but was most interested in trying to better my fuel economy.c.a.I. didn't do much at all to improve it.overall ok buy" —Andrew R from Salinas, CA bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Toyota Tundra, 3.4L V6.
"Item arrived quickly and in good shape. Installation was pretty straight forward. Had to jockey the box a bit to get it level and fitted against an A/C line that was in the way. Also the air filter box had a secondary opening in the front and no cap was supplied to plug it off. Had to go to a home center plumbing dept. to get a rubber pipe cap which was a bit too large, but I built up the box's fitting with tape to get a good seal. Haven't taken a mileage reading but the truck sure feels better." —Douglas V from Virginia Beach, VA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2001 Toyota Tundra.
"Product took a little bit more than common sense to put it on my 2001 Toyota Tundra SR5. Nothing more than anybody can do.
The product worked instantly. Sounds mean and i sopose a slight increase in gas mileage. That is, if you can keep your foot off the throttle to show off your AEM Brute Force Intake to everyone that you pass going down the street or give a ride. :)" —Bradley F from Dixon, IL bought an AEM Brute Force Air Intakes for a 2001 Toyota Tundra.
"best air intake by far.. simple installation.. great results..for example.. i was only getting like 16-17 mpg. driving both city and highway.. now im getting 20mpg. This is deffinitly the product to buy !" —Josue G from Lehigh Acres, FL bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Toyota Tundra.
"Like others have stated, k&n's instructions are not very clear on some of the steps, but easy to overcome.
As far as performance, I am not sure it's much of an improvement. It shows a 14 hp increase, but that's at over 5000 rpm's which is almost redlining on my truck. It does sound good when you get on it." —Brian A from Cincinnati, OH bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2001 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8.
