"Easy installation in less than 1 hour. Deep throaty sound when you get on the throttle. Noticible increase in mid range, slight increase in MPG." —James L from Loxahatchee, FL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Toyota Tundra.
"This system ROCKS!! I wish I had done this conversion years ago!! I love the sound difference, but the performance is where it really is. Totally woke the engine up!! Throttle response isn't all it's cracked up to be, but lower-mid range to peak RPM's are fantastic! Great value for what it offers. I suggest this kit along with a performance exhaust if you want the total package short of a performance chip!!" —James B from Cedar Park, TX bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8.
"Remember the sound of the secondaries opening on your old muscle car? For me, that's what that huge rush of air sounds like when I open up the throttle body of my '05 Tundra. I especially notice that the truck never stops pulling hard all the way through the rpm range. I haven't had it long enough to know what it will do to my towing milage, but who cares. It gave me an additional 4.65 mpg on the highway. With a 26 gal. tank, that beautiful chrome snake under the hood will pay for itself in no time! I also had a custom 2 1/2" cat. back single exhaust sustem installed. If you put more air in faster, doesn't it make sense to get rid of it faster too? After all, it's only an air box." —Eric N from Elk Grove, CA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2005 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8.
"You can really hear and feel the difference very satisfied with this purchase." —Travis J from Houston, TX bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8.
"Luv it.Luv it.Luv it.the best investment money can buy and so easy to install.About 30 min.Just have all tools ready and have fun.wait till you get on the freeway.Pass with a smile on your face.3500 rpms. sounds good.Wait till it drops down another gear and kicks it up to 4500 rpms. That smile gets real big and the exhaust sounds awesome. I have dual TRD exhaust so that does help alot. Thanks K&N....Tommy P." —Tom P from Cle Elum, WA bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2005 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8.
"Very Easy to install, directions were for MY specific car and engine, making it a piece of cake, i did install less than 20 min, with a simple socket set, got it right the first time, upon starting the engine, was EXTREMELY pleased!
the sound was incredible, while not overbearing...
as far as performance its kinda hard to tell, higher rpms there's a kick up, low rpms... similar" —Robert E from Palm Harbor, FL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Toyota Tundra.
"The K&N intake was easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow, and it fits as though it is original equipment. I was able to feel a "seat of the pants" increase in power. I have a cat back exhaust on order, and I think that will allow my truck to take better advantage of the increased intake air. You will notice a increase in under hood noise with this intake." —Steven B from Harrisburg, PA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2005 Toyota Tundra, 4.7L V8.
"The K&N kit (57-9027) is awesome. I installed it on my 05 Tundra. To date, far the kit has given me about 30MPG more to a tank of gas. With that said, I have only had the kit installed for about 2 weeks. I will update this post after 30 days. The install was painless and approx time to install was 1.5 hours. Be sure to look at the YouTube video at least twice in addition to reading the provided instructions. No complaints so far.
Chattanooga TN" —Ron P from Chattanooga, TN bought a K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) for a 2005 Toyota Tundra.
"It was easy to install if you have the right tools... But the Heat shield is a pain...it may not make since but its how it works... Ive beat a 1500 Hemi with this and my a Nissan Altima SER (0-60 in 5.8) i smoked it to 87 twice. Great product major HP gain." —James H from Carlsbad, CA bought an Airaid Intake System for a 2005 Toyota Tundra.
"Installs in less than an hour and K&N's instructions were easy to understand.
I was not expection the additional cabin noise however. It really made the truck loud inside however the increase in power makes up for the noise.
Nice looking product and it seems to live up to the K&N reputation.
