Toyota Tundra

This was a very easy install, took me about 45min. I have installed CAI's before. it looks nice once installed, and sounds great!!!. I gave quality a 4 star because one of the hose clamps was the wrong size( brought correct size)Now I need to take my foot of gas pedal(like the sound of the CAI) so I get better gas millage.

Not awesome but great

So this air intake looks amazing once out in, and sounds amazing too. Once installed there was a small but noticeable horsepower increase. The installation was easy but I must have gotten a different heat shield because with the seal on I couldnt close my hood all the way so I had to grind off about 3/4-1 inch off the top so I could use the seal and still close my hood. Outside of that the thing looks awesome and is an overall plus to any vehicle.

Good job K&N

Several friends recommended this model. Mech got it on my 4.6L with a Helix Throttle Cable Tower in well under an hour. +4 mph city/hwy mpg increase (no figures on all hwy yet) no more Tundra downshifts, and a very quiet acceleration (which I happen to enjoy) unless I want something different ;-). Very happy.
