"The directions were poor at best but luckly I tossed them right away like most men and started the install.
The only real problem was with the box and bolting it down when the gasket at the fender wanted to push it off the holes.
the gasket and or fender wall attachment could have been easer or better fit.
Great milage pick-up I am showing about 1 mile a gal city and 2 MPG hwy in poor winter conditions with lots of warm-up and stop and go,and tire slipage. cant wait for sumer conditions and a road trip to see the milage pick-up." —Joe M from Anoka, MN bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2011 Toyota Tundra.
"The product fits just as stated but performance wise there isn't anything noticeable just a wisle when stepping on throtle. My MPGs have not changed I'm jus glad I didn't waist my money on a throtle body spacer. All in all the product fit great and not one issue installing." —Benjamin W from Hitchcock, TX bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2011 Toyota Tundra.
"Came home yesterday to watch my son installing k&n air intake. Buddy of his had stated that it would take most of the day due to his own installation problems. My son said with the effort of following the instructions that came with the filter, it presented only a minor challenge with a quick installation. Very happy with product and performance." —Thomas M from Clovis, CA bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota Tundra, 4.6L V8.
"I would highley recommend this to any Tundra owner, increased gas mileage and a great sound. It was easy to install ( 20 min )never had any issues after install." —Gregory F from Avon, CO bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2011 Toyota Tundra.
"I purchased this intake for my 2011 Tundra and I'm very happy with it so far. I haven't driven long enough to tell if its increased my mpg at all, but I can definitely feel more power immediately. The instillation took me about 2 hours and the directions are a little vague at times, but if you have any technical skills at all, it isn't hard to install yourself. As far as noise, I can hear a slight increase in the sound of the engine while driving around town, but much more on the highway." —Zachary B from Flagstaff, AZ bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"This K&N made my truck run like a different truck a lot more snap. I haven't check the milage but power alone was worth it. Instruction are easy to follow if you just look at the diagram the written leaves out to much" —Joseph H from Ottawa, KS bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota Tundra.
"Everything was extremely easy to install in my 2011 Tundra and it sounds awesome, but the quality of manufacturing of the pieces and the ability for them to mate together properly was very disappointing. A lot of the screws didn't match up exactly correct and when tightening the clamp for securing the filter itself to the housing would squeeze the filter end and make it slide off. I am worried the filter may shake off when driving over bumps in the road. The screws that attach the filter housing to the air duct are too long, but with the supplied gasket, it doesn't seem like it will be that big of an issue. This is definitely a mass produced product and the quality of the pieces show this." —Evan S from Evans, GA bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2011 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"Installed on my 2011 Tundra and am pleased with the outcome. Installation was a breeze (contrary to other reviews I read). Sounds great also. I'd definitely recommend to others!" —Freddie R from Taft, TX bought a K&N 77 Series Metal Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"Seems to have more power at full throttle and quitter than a K&N cold air intake. Too soon to have an opinion on mileage change. Installation was easy however some of the instructions were wrong for my 2011 Tundra." —Joe H from Twin Falls, ID bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2011 Toyota Tundra.
"Really let's my 2011 tundra breathe a lot better than before. Well worth the money." —William S from Dover, TN bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2011 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"Had an issue seating one of the screws in the front right edge of the intake. I like the sound of it but I cannot attest to the HP gain because I didn't dyno it before installation." —Randolph C from North Pole, AK bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2011 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
