"I bought the AFE cold air intake for my 12 Tundra fit great, More horse power, better MPG's, great sound. well worth the money. I would buy it again. Its a little plain though, should give you some logo options for the top plate other than just the AFE one that was sent." —Chris M from Taylorsville, KY bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"Local shop installed as the directions that came with the CAI are weak. Truck sounds the same as stock system until you put your foot into it. A bit better throttle response especially in 2nd and 3rd gear. I like the sound. Tundra's computer still seems to be re-mapping. Especially on 1st 20 mile trip the truck seemed to be searching for shift points when I really stomped the gas. Getting much better/smoother the more I drive it so no complaints. I've noticed a 1 mpg increase commuting to work, which is much appreciated. I live near Denver so the air is thin. Because of this I may be getting a more dramatic MPG increase vs. lower elevations." —Jeffrey L from Parker, CO bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"Installation was not as easy as I thought it would be and instructions are a little vague, but still under an hour to install. The sound difference is incredible and I do believe that have a slight gain in MPG. I have not pulled a heavy trailer yet, but I have a feeling that the power difference will be noticeable. I would recommend." —William G from Brownwood, TX bought an aFe Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"This system performs well does not seem to save fuel or use more fuel, performance seems to improve a good bit . I do recomend this unit or one that is aplicable to your vehicle . K&N is a good reliable company with great products! Two thumbs up for K&N." —Donald M from Jacksonville, FL bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Toyota Tundra, 4.6L V8.
"Installed last week on my 2012 Tundra DC. easy installation an the fi and finish was very good. I was worried about it not fitting properly into wheel well intake cutout. Mine fit perfect. The rubber coupler that holds it all together allows for adjustment. Truck feels snappier and sounds a little more aggressive when you step on it. All in all very happy." —David S from Horseheads, NY bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Toyota Tundra.
"Overall good experience even though I am not an accomplished mechanic. Volant was very responsive to my call re: a broken breather hose attachment nozzle and a missing engine cover set screw & coupler. I didn't want the typical smaller type CAI and Volant offer a monster option! It works well, sounds great and the jury is still out on MPG improvement. Horsepower boost ... difficult to tell when you're talking 381 vs. ~400. UPS did manage to puncture the delivery box, which may have contributed to the nozzle breakage, plus a small (1.5cm) scratch on the chrome CAI cover piece." —Chris P from Las Vegas, NV bought a Volant Cold Air Intakes for a 2012 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"The get up and go with this intake is unbelievable. It also gives my truck that throaty sound like its ready to eat a smaller vehicle." —Micah P from Abilene, TX bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Toyota Tundra, 4.6L V8.
"This intake fit my 2012 Tundra 5.7L perfectly. The instructions were simple to follow and once installed (along with an Airaid throttle body spacer) the "growling" sound is exactly what I was looking for and the improved throttle response is incredible. Very pleased." —Kyle W from Millville, DE bought a K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit for a 2012 Toyota Tundra.
