Great Product for VW MKV Rabbit 2.5L

Reviewed By Ludwig G (HOUSTON, TX) Reviewed for a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit —7/14/2013 6:48 PM

This is a great mod for any car at a fair price. Noticed performance different right away. The snarl at 3000+ RPM is pretty sweet without heavy engine modifications. Installation was fairly simple for someone with average mechanical experience. I got polished chrome but should have gone with black. I don't plan on showing off my car at any car meets. Overall this product is a 5 out of 5 stars. I'm very happy with the product.

Looks great, sounds great (V6).

Sounds great when you romp on it, although it gets a little "honky" when the VTEC kicks in. Anyone who claims an increase in MPG is delusional-- any potential increase will be negated by the fact that you need to hammer it once in awhile to hear that great sound at WOT. Seat of the pants power increase is mainly placebo affect-- you have to believe K&N's dyno charts, and 7.5 hp at 5K RPM Isn't a huge difference, but for the cost, it's well worth it! K&N customer service is outstanding.
