It took me about 1.5 hours to install the intake on my 06' Dodge Ram Hemi. It was a fairly simple install, just follow the directions. I had to adjust the mounting bracket maybe 1/4" to make it a perfect fit (big deal, have you ever done anything that was perfect). I had already had an aftermarket exhaust and hypertech programmer installed previously. The difference the intake made is very noticeable and it makes the exhaust note much deeper. This made a huge differece in the performance of my vechicle and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting more performance from there vehicle certainly if you add the exhaust and programmer. Well worth the money
in my opinion.

The instructions were good but not perfect. Don't put the filter on last. Put the filter on the lower pipe and then you can push it upward from below. Also, remove more of the engine cover below and you will have more room to work with especially after removing the lower air duct and resonator. I also did not have to rotate the HID Headlight controller. There was plenty of room to spare without rotating it. Everything else in the install instructions was good and it was a breeze to install. Performance wise, I really notice a better response at all speeds but especially when I gun it between the 4k and 5k rpm range. I did that going up a mountain and I was passing everybody. Outstanding air intake. I would recommend this intake to anybody.

This is a great option for those who don't want to spend the extra money on the V2 version or a CAI. The instructions that come with the intake are confusing but I eventually figured it out. It looks great under the hood and gives my car a nice growl when you open up the throttle. I haven't really felt any power gains, though I'm sure I will when I couple this with a new header and exhaust system. The only problem that I had was that I didn't receive a license plate frame in the box (my friend did when he ordered his) and there were some black marks on the exterior of the pipe, though I just covered it with the sticker that comes in the package. Overall I'm very satisfied and will be sure to order from AutoAnything for my next purchase!

The bad first, kind of a pain to install on my 03 civic si seem to be missing a hose clamp and did not mount up very nice but its in there. I think if i cut a hose or two it might fit better. The install book said the filter should not touch anything but the plastic part is kinda resting on the airbox mount, once again if i cut a hose it might fit better. Good news!!! the thing F***ing rocks, sounds good and can notice a real power chance. AEM clams a 17.5 hp boost 4 civic si!! I know i sounds crazy but it feels like it trust me.I do have to say that the people at auto anything rock as well, Very helpful and would recommend them to anyone!!

By relocating your air filter under your front bumper, you put your engine at risk. This is really cheap insurance agaist water getting into your engine. But, this thing is thin and cheaply made. It's a good thing it installs easliy because it will last you about a year before the engine heat and vibration rip it in half and you gt to put on a new one, just like I get to do every year. Don't bother with the instructions, I think they are in Chinese. Just look at one in a photo, cut your pipe and put it on. If you can tie your shoes, you can install this.
