I noticed more horsepower right away after installing it. Instalation took just under an hour but it was well worth it. It also makes the engine look a lot better. Waiting to see about any mpg improvements.

This is a great intake. I have a lot of experience modifying BMWs,particularly the e46 3 series. Ive owned 4 different cold air intakes, each $400+. Though the AFE doesn't offer some of the more modern aesthetics that many tuners do, such a carbon fiber shield (GruppeM), the kit really is something else. However, performance-wise I think this may be the best intake for the 3 series. And at 350ish its a great buy. This kits offers additional shielding that you can't find in conforti or ecis. If you are a performance buff that likes a good looking intake the AFE intake is a must. And Auto-anything does provide it at an incredible price.

AEM Power spacer

Ok so I see the regular AEM brute force air intake, then there is the aem brute force air intake with power spacer. My question is what is the difference? Is the power spacer like a throttle body spacer? Or is it a throttle body spacer? 03 Dodge 2500 5.7L

Hello Rick. The power spacer is a throttle body spacer. Hope that helps.
