I was originally going to go with the K&N, but then I heard from a few tundra owners that the K&N oil really mucks up the MAF sensor, requiring you to have to clean it constantly. Also, I've heard the K&N is much more difficult to install due to self tapping screws for the MAF and other problems. I decided to go with the AFE mainly for the dry air filter. So far so good, and I do see a slight difference in gas mileage. (about a 1 mile per gallon difference) Nice sound too. The only problem I had was getting the back bolt down on the open intake box, and the tube near the manifold is a bit big so I can't get the plastic toyota decoration cover over it perfectly, but it still holds on the anchors.

Looks great and makes a very little whistle which sounds cool. But you cant hear it with the windows up. Install was pretty basic but the instructions could be a little more specific. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Fast delivery.
