Install was simple. Hardest part was getting coupler around throttle. Have noticed 1-2 mpg increase on highway driving around 70mph. This is my 3rd or 4th AFE intake and best so far. Has a low tone throaty sound when stepping on the pedal. Just a reminder this is for the 6.7L Powerstroke

This AFE cold air kit is much quieter that the one I had installed on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off road 4X4. I actually like it being quieter. I can tell that the cold air intake is on when I give it gas. and I can even see what appears to be an improvement in my MPG.

Hi, Run your normal octane rating as per your owners manual. Once you bolt on a supercharger or a really aggressive tune, then you'll have to increase octane to prevent detonation. And, these filters do use 10-layers of progressive cotton filtering media. We get our product information directly from aFe.flag Accept Answer

Will this void factory warrenty

Hi Robert, According to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty of your vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part was the cause or contributed to the failure of the vehicle (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)). It’s always best to work with a performance-oriented dealership, but no matter who you choose, you’re protected by the law.flag Accept Answer
