Finally tried it… and I am SOOOO happy I did it….This is a great unit, you can feel the Difference!!BUT in order to really feel the Difference, you also want to get an Jet Power-Flow Mass Air Sensor and flow master!!!I am using all 3 units… I really can feel the power!! It feels like I have a race car now and not a MID-SUV…Use all 3 units you can’t go wrong!!!If you just buy the K&N intake you wont to get that full power.Make sure you also get a new Flow Mass Air Sensor, because that stock Air Sensor won’t give you the full power from your intake. The flow master is a plus to have. Thanks Again, Cello

This is quality built product. I really like the feel of good heavy gage steel, and not some cheap piece of plastic in my hands. It looks great on the car and really the average person would never notice, because it looks so "original equipment". It took about an hour to install this and all the instructions are there. Just do what they say. This is a great price for this product. You are buying quality here, not some plastic box. I am completely satisfied with my purchase 100%

Will K&N intakes fit under the hood of a Ford F150?

I'm real interested in this K&N intake, but I just want to make sure it will fit snug under the hood of my 2012 F150. I've got the 5.0L V8 engine.

Hi Ryan, yes, K&N intakes are custom designed for each vehicle, so fitment should be perfect and everything will fit underneath your hood. It looks like K&N does make a part number for your 2012 Ford F150 with the 5.0L V8, so the installation should be seamless.

filter options?

I am looking at the Airaid Intake System 300-237, but it doesn't give the option for the oil or dry filter like it says is available in the description. Is there an option, and can you get the metal?

I was able to verify that the item does offer both the oil and dry filter. But if your referring to a metal intake tube, the AirRaid Intake is only offered in nylon intake tube or metal filter.
