It doesn't feel like I have more power, but it does seem to come on smoother and there are no dead spots in the throttle. I'm not seeing any mpg improvement but my regular commute is in LA traffic either under 30mph or over 70mph, not exactly the gas mileage sweet spot on this truck. The stock intake tube has two HUGE sound-reduction chambers, so I do not doubt manufacturer claims that it flows much more air than stock. Unfortunately most of my driving conditions don't take advantage of that. I imagine much greater gains are possible when compounded with a programmer and/or exhaust upgrades. Installation instructions were clear, easy to follow, and the product fit and finish is better than stock. No complaints.

It definitely takes some time to get the headers on what with having to remove the intake manifold, fuel rail, etc. but the end result is well worth the effort.My jeep has 33s and a 4 inch lift, and it feels like a sports car now in comparison to the way it used to be. Much more torque and throttle response, and much more powerful overall. I am also noticing a substantial fuel efficiency increase and added about 45 miles to my average tank of gas overall. It also ends up with a very "meaty" yet still uniquely jeep sound.I would recommend the Banks Powerpack system to anyone with a Jeep as I can't speak highly enough about it.

My factory plastic intercooler tube cracked and needed replacement. This Banks High Ram kit included a new intercooler tube and fittings and was within $50 of a stock replacement so I ordered it. Excellent instructions and ease of installation. High quality. I have seen no gain in power or fuel mileage around town, but I have yet to tow or drive on the highway with this kit added. I would recommend just on the look if you have the money.

The installation was a breeze, with both the intake and exhaust. I noticed a deeper sound but, not overwhelming enough to be annoyed during cruising and the gas mileage has improved. This weekend I try it while hauling the toy-hauler which is the reason I bought the system in the first place. It sure appears to have made more power and should help with hauling. I am impressed enough to order an intake for my 08 Jeep Wrangler!
