I'm not sure that this helps with my fuel consumption at all, but it has made my E90 325i more fun to drive and was easy to install. I wish there was more of a HP gain, but I knew what to expect before I bought the product. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Hey there. Sure, CARB, full name California Air Resources Board, is in charge is controlling standards for emissions in certain states. If a part is not "CARB-exempt," it may not be legal for highway use. If you want to find out if your state follows CARB restrictions, see here.

Cold air

Hi guy, i just got this awesome cold air intake. However i only installed the short ram because my buddy told me that installing cold air might let water go into our engine during raining season. I m just wondering if this is correct or not.

It has been known to happen, but it takes some pretty severe weather and deep puddles. If you're really concerned, you can install the Injen Hydro Shield which covers your filter to block water and microscopic particles from getting into your engine.
