It was very easy to install and took about 10 minutes. Made out of high grade aluminum. Got a good boost of hp but the gas mileage didn't change much. All n all good quality and I would recommend for other trailblazer owners.

The installation process would have been much easier, had all of the necessary parts been shipped. Having to purchase parts from a local hardware store that were missing from the package put a damper on the entire project. Having said that, I can definitely notice a difference in performance. Engine RPMs are lower, gas mileage has seemed to improve and the motor has a subtle, but notably deeper sound.
Chevy Trailblazer SS intake.

Overall Volant makes a great product. I've used their cold air intakes in my last three trucks. The only issue I had with this intake for the SS was there was no hole for the factory sensor. Leaving the sensor off causes the engine light to go on. I needed to drill a hole in the air box and modify it to fit to avoid this.
