There is so much to say about this filter...all positive... Installation was a breeze, less than an hour in my driveway...The results were noticeable immeadiately. I have a 2005 Durango with the 5.7L Hemi and man did I notice the difference in torque and horsepower right away. Haven't dynoed it, but they're claim of 17 hp increase seems about right. The filter helps make the engine sound a lot more beastly, giving it an awesome growl when accelerating. The best thing is the 2-3mpg increase I've seen with it! I would recommend this and all K&N prodcuts to anyone, regardless of application!!! Oh and don't let me forget to mention the great prices from autoanything.com. I did lots of research and comparison and they can't be beat!!!

Harder then I thought it was going to be. Took over 2 hours to install. Directions more of a parts list. You have to push and tug a lot to get the screws wholes to match up. A lot of key missing parts. Only came with one screw and lock washer to bolt down box. Only one 5/8 straight fitting. I happen to have found a PVC sprinkler head fitting the same size that I am using for replacement for the missing fitting. No vinyl end cap. Luckily I bought the accessory ram scoop so there was no need for the end cap. The wrong shape sensor gasket. Over all it looks and sounds but, did not improve gas mileage after one take of gas. I have noticed more power and speed. Sounds great when you step on it. Nice roar from inside the cab.

$220 with cleaning kit. Fairly easy to install. Difficulty removing one of the vibration bolts (due to location). Once I literally pulled the housing off of rubber and bolt, easy to unscrew. Subtle improvement. Lower idle [around 600rpm after warm](more air) without extra vibration of truck. Applying similar amount of force on the gas pedal as previously, I'm able to identify a small increase in torque, and a smoother transition into higher gears. This implies an extra amount of horsepower. Haven't consumed full tank to document fuel efficiency. If I get extra 1 mpg [according to previous reviews], at $2.50/gallon (for now), I should break even in around 18 months (versus $350 for K&N = almost 3 years). Better value for the price.

I purchased this for my 2010 Ford F150. Needed to improve mpg plus wanted some performance. Som have said they noticed no difference in MPG but with this and the araid throttle body spacer i have seen an increase in Pick up And MPG. I like the sound it gives off when you punch the gas and take off.All though you will lose some MPG if you drive that way all the time. I went from 14 MPG around town to almost 20 MPG depending on how you drive. The cover on the back matbe helping also. I would have given this excellent all the way around but I dont reall care for the gap between the air box and where the clips are.wish there was a tighter seal there.I would definitly recomened this and the throttle body spacer.

The only real problem that I had with this Item was it took a month to get it. It probally cause I went for the black CAI instead of the polished one. I cheated tho- I got this for my mom but she didnt want it so it went into my 2006 chevy malibu maxx. Shame on me cause I dont get the warrenty coverage but man its worth it. You'll have to make a blacket for the side by the passanger side connection but rite now the rubber bumper holds it just fine but I will be using some JB bond to cement a custom blacket for that. Otherwise it sounds great and looks even better. One more thing put that rubber piece with the slit in it on the hole where the intake goes through, Cause its hell!
