2015 RAM CAI

Reviewed By Jeff E (ENGLEWOOD, CO) Reviewed for a 2015 Dodge Ram —2/3/2016 2:38 PM

I go the K&N 63 series and everything went great with the exception of a few things. One of the nut and bolt that attaches the the Frame was way to short to fit all the washers and the Spacer. The other major problem was the Recalculation hose which you have to cut to fit. The port which accepts the recirc tube is not lined up with where the hose comes out of the engine cover which makes you kink the hose 90 degrees inorder to get it on the CAI Tube. this should be a factory 90 or a pre bent.

Bad part they knew about

Reviewed By Hastings C (Hastings, MN) Reviewed for a 2016 Ford F-350 —2/3/2016 12:35 PM

I installed this cold air system and the first time I drove it, It would had trouble pulling any boost. I thought during the install that the hose from the turbo to the intake pipe felt kind of weak. I called K&N and talked to a performance rep and he said right away when I told him what it was doing that they are getting new hoses because they knew the ones that came with it were getting sucked shut under boost. They said they would overnight ship me the new one in 1-2 weeks. Other than that ok
