The product is excellent. The only issues I had were getting the air sensor into the new hose and attaching the hose to the lower intake flange. Other then that the install went smooth.

I purchased this filter kit due to the reputation of the company and previous experiance's with their products expectind the best of the best, Boy was I wrong! Instructions said 90 minute install, 3 hours and more tools than directions called for I go to test fire car to check for leaks or ? everything was good so I go to shut hood and test drive, the hood won't shut! Now in a panic tried to remove top cover and bolts were breaking, after cutting several bolts off I had to modify top plate.
Nice device, noise damping needed

I really like my K&N cold air kit, and only had minor issues installing it (some of the old hardware was hard to remove). You should definitely use dynamat or something similar on the heat shield to cut the noise that used to be blocked by all the factory plastic this kit replaces. Performance-wise, the car is definitely more willing coming off the stoplight.
