Dodge Durango aFe Cold Air Intakes

Though your Dodge Durango might sport stellar performance, its factory parts aren’t intended for optimal delivery. The stock air intake system in your Durango is designed to keep your engine quiet, but AutoAnything’s Dodge Durango aFe cold air intakes add a subtle performance sound, while giving your motor the oxygen it needs.

K&N 57 Series FIPK Air Intake (50-State Legal) Reviews

Throaty

Reviewed By James L (Artemas, PA) Reviewed for a 2001 Dodge Durango —5/12/2016 12:22 PM

Just installed the Kn filter set up. It seems that the acceleration has improved slightly. The noise sounds similar to the old four barrels kicking in. It definitely resonates into the cabin. My truck has a magnaflow muffler so it's a little loud but nice. The instructions were pretty clear and installation took a little over an hour. The system mounts solidly. I would've preferred metric bolts for installation just so everything is uniform. I would rate it 4 stars across the board.

Value for the money

Reviewed By Ingo R (HUNTINGTON, NY) Reviewed for a 2015 Dodge Durango —5/5/2016 2:44 PM

Autoanything shipped very quick and arrived as ordered. The K&N 77 Series system drops right in without any issues. The instruction sheet is a bit vague at points, but if you are moderately skilled in mechaical abilities, you should have no problems. Too early to see if I gained in MPG, but the extra power is clearly evident at 3500-4000 RPM. Sounds really good too. Nice product.

About Dodge Durango aFe Cold Air Intakes

The free-flowing tubing of a Dodge Durango aFe CAI allows cooler, denser air in for maximum benefits. Engine components like the radiator last longer when your Durango runs at a cooler temperature, and since cold air is better for fuel burning, you enjoy more horsepower. Sending cool air into the combustion chamber improves throttle response, and the air-to-fuel ratio in the gas lines provides an increase in miles per gallon.
