This is the second AEM Brute Force intake I have purchased for use on my diesel pickups. They are easy to install by anyone who has mechanical inclination. The intakes are made of high quality parts and arrive as advertised. I prefer the dry filter element over the oiled gauze option that was the only option for several years. I use these filter elements in severe dusty conditions and they have performed exceptionally well. I would recommend AEM intakes to anyone who wants better performance.

Installation took about 4 hours on my 05 Ram 4.7L because I'm not too mechanically experienced & had trouble installing the IAT & rubber grommet in the tube. Removal & installation used a 9mm, 10mm, 13mm and 5/16" sockets along with a flathead screwdriver & an extra pair of hands at one point to install the filter. I did NOT use jack/jackstands. Idk about mileage, but throttle response has definitely improved and it roars really nice around 2.5K+ RPMs.
