I have installed these on several vehicles with success. Each vehicle has its own challenges, the instructions mention you may have to trim the fan air shroud for clearance. This was necessary on the tahoe and you need to be prepared for that. Beyond hand tools, you will need a drill with 1/4" bit and an an air saw. Looks and sounds great once in!
Looks great but not worth it to me. IAT quite hot in traffic.

Great quality, looks super, sounds great, easy install BUT, the air box driver side extends under the left fender lip & lets some water in. I'm in FL & Inlet Air Temp runs as high as 50 deg above ambient in traffic. Wx seal fits OK. Cools slowly when moving. Stock box intakes warms slower & not near as hi, cools quickly when moving. No apparent performance or mileage gains. I took it off. Stock is better CAI.

Looks good. Sounds good. I can feel the increased power. I even got better gas mileage. Hard to install the down pipe ram air scoop. And tire rubs on it when turning sharp right. But over all I'm satisfied and would recommend it.
