Impressive!! Really woke up my 2.5 liter!!
Installation was a breeze for me, but I was a mechanic by trade for many years. The only thing that I didn't use was the Alan screws supplied for the mass air sensor, the OE screws had washers built on them " a flat and a lock not removable" the supplied screws didn't, and the alan wrench hole was not perfect, wrench would not fit all the way in! Just used the OE screws! Not sure about gas mileage, just installed. Can definitely tell there is a increase in horsepower, i love the new sound????
Installed on 2010 Mazda 3 2.5
Installation only took about 20 minutes being extra careful. Not as loud as other brands I have used in the past. Fairly expensive for what it is, but there is not check engine light and it looks nice. The inside of the parts is covered in grime and should be cleaned before installation. Auto anything had the intake for the cheapest price after shopping around. Also, the picture of the product is inaccurate. The intake looks much nicer, with metal decals and a filter with a concave top.
Good buy for the price
The build quality of the intake is good, everything fits very well, doesn't have the homemade look of others I've seen. It was a snap to install, although you really had to study the pictures to confirm placement of some parts. It gives the car some extra 'sport', sounds much better, with a little better low end power. I've seen a slight increase in mpg, although I like the sound of it so my driving is probably less frugal than before. Overall, I love it, good product.
