Airaid Intake System Reviews

We installed the Airaid system in about 25 minutes to a 4.2 V6! It added a nice sound, trottle responsiveness and a very nice look to the engine. The Airaid system looks and feels solid and the price was right!

Not sure

Reviewed By John B (CALEDONIA, MI) Reviewed for a 2002 Ford F-150 —8/10/2014 10:38 AM

I installed on a F-150 with 68,000 miles. I was expecting a fuel economy increase. It may have improved performance, but not economy. Still 16 to 16 1/2 MPG very disappointed. I also made a change to my air intake, with a k&M filter. Still little or no improvement. SO now I am looking to change exhaust and install a 12 volt fan. maybe 16+ is then best I can expect.

Extremely Simple Install

Reviewed By Dennis F (Poughkeepsie, NY) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford F-150 —7/25/2014 6:37 AM

Very, easy install. It literally takes about 15 minutes to complete. Fairly thick composite tube which should be good for heat resistance. The tube is a much larger diameter than the stock tube and looks great. This perfect for the guy or gal that really understands that all you really need to do is switch out the tube, not the air box. On this year Ford the air box has a pretty large diameter inlet so in my opinion why change it. For colder air put foil back pipe tape on bottom of the tube.
