A Great Product with installation flaws

The Volant Cold Air Intake for the 2008 GMC 2500HD Duramax does what it says it will do. I am experiencing more horsepower and my highway gas mileage is up just about 1 mile per gallon. The throaty growl at 2000 RPM seems to be the same as I had with the stock intake, which is fine by me. I was actually a little concerned by some of the other reviews that said their truck was much louder with the intake installed. I was really just looking for the mileage increase. The installation leaves something to be desired. The fancy new cover for the unit has four screws that are a nightmare to install once the unit is in place, but can't go on before it is in place...maybe I should have checked the installation instructions, OH WAIT, there are none. Hey Volant, throw a step by step into the box and you will round out a near perfect product in my books.

This intake helps my truck breathe easier, it was my first add-on for my new truck. Now I can get the exhaust kit to allow better airflow all the way through. The Volant cold air intake was easy to install only taking me about 2 hours. The only thing that slowed me down was the lack of better intructions for us first timers. Thanks.
